Hello!
My name is Annette VanderVloet, owner of Sandscape Organizing Solutions, located at Ipperwash Beach along the beautiful shores of Lake Huron in Lambton Shores, ON.
My goal is simple: to help you create a home that feels lighter, more manageable, and truly supports the life you’re living today—without feeling overwhelmed or judged. Whether you’re downsizing, settling into a new chapter, or simply ready to enjoy your home again, I’m here to guide you with compassion, practical solutions, and a helping hand every step of the way.
A Bit About Me
Like many people, I’ve worn a lot of hats over the years. While raising our two now-grown children on a busy farm, I balanced farm work and family life with a career in long-term care administration, where I spent more than 14 years supporting older adults and their families through the admissions process and major life transitions. That experience taught me the importance of compassion, confidentiality, and helping people feel supported during what can often be overwhelming times.
In 2018, we acquired a lakefront property with an ongoing short term rental business at my favourite childhood beach -Ipperwash, and I became a Short Term Rental operator of 3 units. We are fortunate to have very special guests and managing several rental units has shown me just how much thoughtful planning, organization, and preparation contributes to creating calm, welcoming spaces for our guests and longstanding repeat customers!
In 2023 we downsized after 33 years in one house, and during that same year helped our children through moves of their own, it was a busy year! Most recently I have supported a parent through the transition into long-term care while managing the downsizing and sale of their home. I understand firsthand that these seasons of life can be emotional, exhausting, and sometimes overwhelming.
While these were busy and sometimes overwhelming tasks at times, I realized I genuinely enjoy bringing order to what can feel like chaos. I love breaking big, intimidating projects into manageable steps, and find there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a space—and the people in it—feel lighter and more at ease. I’ve always loved solving puzzles, and organizing is simply another kind of puzzle to me and so, it was time for a new adventure and Sandscape Organizing Solutions was born!
After completing the full compliment of courses being offered by Professional Organizers of Canada , I completed the exam to to earn the designation of Trained Professional Organizer through Professional Organizers in Canada (POC). I continue to invest in ongoing education so I can provide practical, compassionate support to clients as they declutter, downsize, organize, and confidently move into their next chapter.
